The Space Time Pilot

Discussion concerning the first major re-evaluation of Dewey B. Larson's Reciprocal System of theory, updated to include counterspace (Etheric spaces), projective geometry, and the non-local aspects of time/space.

The Space Time Pilot

Post by gratiot »

We have Time and Space.

How many dimensions does it take to think?

Can I think in space?

Can I think in time?

If I think in Time do I move in Space?

If I think in Space do I move in Time?

If I Space in Time do I move in thought?

If I Time in Space do I Think to Move?

If I Space in Thought do I move Time?

If I Time in Thought do I do I move Space?

Is the imaginary component of RS2 Thought?

Is thought a vector through space and time?

Is thought Scaler?

Thanks for listening.

Space, Time and Mind

Post by Louis »

Hi Pilot, great questions!
I can't pretend to have the answers but I'll offer my opinion.

How many dimensions does it take to think? With what Mind, the Infinite or the finite? The Infinite Mind is bound by no dimensions and requires none. The finite mind requires 7 dimensions, 4 of space plus 3 of time. This statement requires a very long discussion, but this is the short answer.

We can think in both space and time because they are not separable in the finite. Therefore this is my answer to the next five of your questions. You are free to do all those things but they must be done in BOTH space and time.

Your last three questions are more complicated. Regarding your question about RS2 and the imaginary domain being thought, I would yield to those in the RS2 community.

Mind-perceived time, is consciousness of sequence, motion and a sense of duration.
Spirit-perceived time is insight into motion Godward.
Personality creates a unique time sense out of insight into Reality plus a consciousness of presence and an awareness of duration.

All patterns of reality occupy space space on the material level, but spirit patterns only exist in relation to space; they do not occupy or displace space, neither do they contain space. But the master riddle of space pertains to the pattern of IDEA.

Does the pattern, the reality, of an idea occupy space, well, who really knows? It is most probable that an idea pattern does not contain space. But it would hardly be safe to postulate that the immaterial is always nonspatial.

Regarding vectors of any sort, they are nonsense outside of describing a single radius. Radii are the only valid linear concept and even they are merely conceptual in the sense that their magnitudes ARE the scaler. They have no particular direction because they point to infinity (every direction). Their magnitudes must therefore be 'quantitized' to uphold the finite and prevent them from flying off to infinity. That is how we can exist in our time-space domains, because space, as it expands and contracts, acts as an equilibrant on gravity, bounding the infinite, keeping everything from expanding into the infinite. The Phi spiral explains this perfectly (The Golden Ratio). The space bounding the expanding or contracting phi spiral is governed by radii that increases and decreases as the curvature accelerates and decelerates. Note that this radii makes quantum leaps of magnitude at every orthogonal point and that governs the curve. The curve is continuous yet the leaps are discrete (quanta). The discrete borns the continuous. This is why any velocity vector term is nonsense. The equations are nonsense! There only exists relations. We must stop searching for equations that describe everything, or anything for that matter. You can only strictly apply calculations to changes in things as they relate to changes in other associated things.

Is thought scaler? A very interesting question. In assuming that all thought proceeds from the Infinte Mind, I suppose it could be scaler, but the magnitude would have to be infinity.

Thanks for the questions, it makes one think.

Piloting Dimensions

How many dimensions does it take to think?
One more than most people usually have.

Can I think in space?
You sense in space.

Can I think in time?
You intuit in time.

If I think in Time do I move in Space?
You can only feel in time/space, which is sensed in space.

If I think in Space do I move in Time?
You can only think in space/time, which is intuited in time.

If I Space in Time do I move in thought?
You move in introspection.

If I Time in Space do I Think to Move?
You move in extraversion.

If I Space in Thought do I move Time?
You die.

If I Time in Thought do I do I move Space?
You incarnate.

Is the imaginary component of RS2 Thought?
It is time for thought.

Is thought a vector through space and time?
It is a path through a landscape.

Is thought Scaler?
Only if you are climbing a mountain.

Thanks for listening.

Pilot
