Discussion concerning the first major re-evaluation of Dewey B. Larson's Reciprocal System of theory, updated to include counterspace (Etheric spaces), projective geometry, and the non-local aspects of time/space.

Gravity-powered Wheel

Post by bperet »

While researching the distributed scalar motion that is "gravity", I ran across an interesting reference to one Johann Bessler (aka, Orffyreus), who, in 1712 AD, apparently constructed a "motor" (a rotating wheel) that was powered solely by the acceleration of gravity. A great deal of information can be found at the site: http://www.besslerwheel.com/

There have been rumors of people inventing these "Bessler Wheels" for some time, from Asa Jackson in the Civil War, to the "airships" of the 1900s being propelled by them, so I am wondering if there is any truth to it. Recently, one of the gang at OverUnity.com believes that he has recreated the Bessler wheel, and has built a device that once it is thrown off-balance, it continues to spin faster and faster, based solely on the acceleration of gravity.

On YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7lD_65ggChs

Conventional science does not really understand gravity, but the Reciprocal System has a very detailed explanation. Perhaps conventional science missed something that these inventors stumbled across.

Phil and I played around with a couple designs, but ran into the common problem of the system being in equilibrium, with friction causing sufficient loss of energy to always make the wheel stop. I'm not sure if this is a scam, but my gut feeling is saying it isn't... just occurred too many times in history.

One of the most noticeable features of these devices is that they make a lot of noise when in operation, like a washing machine that is off-balance on the spin cycle. Don't know if that is a clue or not!

If anyone has any ideas, please feel free to express them. Thanks.

Bruce,

Here are interesting experimental results that seem to have something to do with gravity and your electron triplets, you described elsewhere (remind me where)

This sounds a lot like Podkletnov's devices, http://www.rialian.com/rnboyd/podkletnov.htm

Nehru first introduced the concept of the bi-rotating electron pairs back in 2001 when analyzing Podkletnov's experiments, and it appears that Claude Poher's Universons are the same thing.

So yes, the electron pairs/triplets would be what he is producing, via a solid-state mechanism.

Still down.

Try: http://www.orffyre.com/

Or just search the Internet for "Johann Bessler" or "Orffyre" (which is a Rot13 name for Bessler).

Clues to Bessler Wheel design

Post by bperet »

Bessler gave the following clues about his machine (http://www.besslerwheel.com/clues.html):
  • Machine was set in motion by weights.
  • Weights acted in pairs
  • Weights gained force from their own swinging.
  • Weights came to be placed together, arranged one against another.
  • Weights applied force at right angles to the axis.
  • Springs were employed, but not as detractors suggested.
  • The machine's power was directly proportional to its diameter.
Others gave these clues:
  • Weights may have been pierced in the middle and attached by connecting springs.
    - Acta Eridutorum, An Account of the Perpetuum Mobile of J. E. E. Orffyreus, 1715
  • Weights were heard hitting the side of the wheel going down.
    - eyewitness accounts
  • Machine made scratching noises, as if parts or poles moved over one another.
    - eyewitness accounts
  • Weights may have been attached to movable or elastic arms on the periphery of the wheel.
    - Johann Christian Wolff, eyewitness account
  • Weights may have landed on slightly warped boards.
    - Johann Christian Wolff, eyewitness account
  • Weights were cylindrical.
    - Johann Christian Wolff, eyewitness account
  • About 8 weights fell during each revolution of the wheel, which took about 3 seconds. (wheel diameter ~ 12 feet)
    - Joseph Fischer, eyewitness account
