Is there a way to distinguish an inward/inward unit of motion from outward/outward unit of motion, without resorting to another "observing unit" ?

Cross-ratio

<t>Somewhere it was said that in Projective Geometry there are only cross-ratios (ratios of ratios) and they have 15-degrees of freedom, which are represented by a 4x4 matrix (with 1 element fixed at unity).<br/> <br/> Since a cross-ratio is simply (a/b)/(c/d) which is an expression of 4 variables, ...

Fundamentals of Scalar Motion V2 working draft

<t>Bruce,<br/> <br/> I understand teh general idea of "shadows on the wall" of different geometric perpectives (lenses), however I could never apply it to the specifics (e.g. the 3 gravitating body problem). Thus until I see AT LEAST one example how the projective description of 3 motions becomes th...

Electron motion

What about electrons.

Why do they circle in a magnetic field.

Can projective geometry explain that ?

Geometry of What?

<t>I think the primary difference between Doug's RSt ideas and Bruce's RS2 ideas, is the question "Geometry of What" ?<br/> <br/> The original RST 2nd postulate states that:<br/> <br/> "Physical Universe's geometry is Euclidean"<br/> <br/> Doug states that:<br/> <br/> "The geometry of extension-spac...

Why do they gravitate?

<t>Yes, I read Flatland many years ago and rember that females were triangular and dumb and using paint was a "punishable secret"<br/> <br/> I often think of this book when trying to make visualizations of RS stuff.<br/> <br/> Now I am still stuggling to grasp the 3 masses problem, as I cannot under...

Why do they gravitate?

Bruce wrote: Are you considering a uniform change of angle to be a "straight time line", versus a non-uniform change being "curved time"? It seems that from our material point of view, the arrow of time is a 1D path devoid of directional properties, and because the lack of direc...

Why do they gravitate?

What about direction being normalized to a straight time line too ? I always suspected that the direction in time is closely related to the direction in space, e.g if the direction reverses in both aspects it is tantamount to no directional reversal at all. See the animation below for illustration o...
