While researching the distributed scalar motion that is "gravity", I ran across an interesting reference to one Johann Bessler (aka, Orffyreus), who, in 1712 AD, apparently constructed a "motor" (a rotating wheel) that was powered solely by the acceleration of gravity. There have been rumors of people inventing these "Bessler Wheels" for some time, from Asa Jackson in the Civil War, to the "airships" of the 1900s being propelled by them, so I am wondering if there is any truth to it. Recently, one of the gang at OverUnity.com believes that he has recreated the Bessler wheel, and has built a device that once it is thrown off-balance, it continues to spin faster and faster, based solely on the acceleration of gravity.

Conventional science does not really understand gravity, but the Reciprocal System has a very detailed explanation. Perhaps conventional science missed something that these inventors stumbled across.

Phil and I played around with a couple designs, but ran into the common problem of the system being in equilibrium, with friction causing sufficient loss of energy to always make the wheel stop. I'm not sure if this is a scam, but my gut feeling is saying it isn't... just occurred too many times in history.

One of the most noticeable features of these devices is that they make a lot of noise when in operation, like a washing machine that is off-balance on the spin cycle. Don't know if that is a clue or not!
