What about electrons.

Why do they circle in a magnetic field.

Can projective geometry explain that ?

Not sure what you mean by circling in a magnetic field... do you mean being deflected by the magnetic lines of force, electrons spinning on their axis, or something else?

I assume we're talking charge electrons, outside of a conductor, right?

Circling like in a Betatron...

Projective geometry is just a method of casting a shadow upon a wall, so you can measure how the shadows move and interact. Everything we observe with our eyes and instruments are shadows (or as the philosophers say, "illusions"). The same projection process works for galaxies or electrons.

Electrons, like all charged particles, are deflected because of the charge, not because of the basic rotations. In Larson's electron, the charge is a "rotational vibration" applied to the electron; cause unknown. In RS2, the charge is a photon captured by the electron, having the net effect of a rotational vibration.

Rotational vibration is only effective 1/2 of the time, when the direction of the vibration is opposed to the progression. Magnetism is a 2-dimensional rotational vibration (basically the same thing), but out of phase with the 1-dimensional by 90 degrees. This results in a net motion that is orthogonal to the direction of motion of the electron, causing it to be deflected by a magnetic field.

In RS2, since the charge (photon) is the reason for magnetic deflection, deflection can be attributed to the Zeeman effect (remembering that "frequency" is a speed).

(BTW, I'm half way thru the Java 3D tutorials, so hopefully I'll have some interactive graphics to demonstrate some of these concepts soon.)
