On The 4-fold Structure of the Mind

Post by ckiit »

The mind is composed of 4 principle layers (from grossest to subtlest):

4. Intellect
3. Identity
2. Karma
1. Cosmic Intelligence

4. Intellect
The intellect makes use of any/all memory in/of the body - be it in the complex neural networks of the brain, or in the simple singular cell. This means the intellect is strictly limited to physicality because it requires a structured bank(s) of memory to function. If the intellect did not have access to memory, it could not function at all. As such: the intellect is but a tool, like a sharp knife. If one needs to dissect something into smaller constituents, the intellect serves this function. All action(s) carried out (ie. motions) are stored in the form of memory in the body. Importantly: the intellect can not produce anything "new" - it can only re-permute & recombine the limited information it has. As such, the intellect is a limiting factor. It is ultimately constricted by the identity: whatever is the identity taken, that is what the mind will ultimately serve. If there is no identity, the intellect naturally tends towards cosmic intelligence (ie. transcends the limitations of the physical) by working out (ie. on) karma.

3. Identity
The identity is that which one believes themselves to be, but is actually not. The human being is a piece of life in the cosmos, nothing more (& nothing less). Any/all identity(s) beyond this defines the very limitations of that being (in the form of a gravity of ignorance weighing down on). While it is necessary to assume an identity for social purposes, it is but a garment worn daily & hung up at the end of the night.

Unfortunately, the identity is highly exploitable & once a person has become identified with/as something, whoever or whatever controls that something has the capacity to control the one(s) identified. This is precisely how "idolatry" works & is the basis of the Abrahamic "religions". From the Daniel papers' "The Uncommitted Investigator":
Religion is not what you think… it’s the code of enslavement, not enlightenment.
The above statement is absolutely true. Religions are ever-competing to get people identified with a book or a (usually male) central figure patriarchal idol. Once this has happened, not only are they bound to suffer, their own actions can be controlled/manipulated according to the desire(s) of their rulers. Such people become ensnared in the cycle of birth & death as they ultimately serve the... you know who. This problem is very deeply embedded, as it relates directly to the faulty faculty of "belief" being used to invert perception (up-to) 180-degrees.

As earlier postulated: the principle (ie. first, most basic) displacement of any/all displaced motioning bodies is in the form of a polar inversion.

That is: one believes the polar opposite of what is true.

2. Karma
Karma is not a punish/reward system - it is rather referring to ones own actions (both: conscious & not). The word "karma" literally means "action" & is thus highly relevant in a universe of motion. If/as we choose to perform an action (ie. cause a motion) it is stored in/as the form of karma (ie. as memory). Therefor karma also means "memory" because all actions themselves precede all memory(s) of them. Ones own karma is ones own action & ones own action is according ones own choice(s): conscious and/or not.

1. Cosmic Intelligence
There is no English word for this, so "cosmic intelligence" is used. This is the intelligence in/of creation which is otherwise unsullied by the former 3: intellect, identity and karma. This intelligence can be accessed/utilized in the in-between states of sleep and wakefulness wherein physical senses are shut off while/as one is conscious. This state offers pristine clarity: to be able to see whatever one is looking at just the way it is without distortions. For example, one can go to sleep with a particular problem or question in mind and wake with an extremely lucid insight (but it appears to dissipate as the physical senses are re-engaged). These temporary states of pristine clarity & lucidity come from the inside-out, thus are appropriately "cosmic" as they use the energy(s) coming from the cosmic region. Unlike the intellect, this intelligence can come up with something entirely new by removing old barriers.

To close: the mind generally (as a whole) works most optimally if/as one has no identity(s) to & by which they are bound.
