It is interesting that they are considering the core to be a nuclear reactor... a fission-based system which is exactly the stellar power generation system that the Reciprocal System proposes. Definitely a step in the right direction, though they will find that the uranium deposits predicted will be at the surface of the inner core, not the center.

Also, helium is one of the byproducts of intermediate speed matter dropping back into the low speed range (along with hydrogen).
