NOMENCLATURE ?????

I was looking at unicode options for symbols, since there are thousands of them now. The problem is that most fonts do not support them all. Here is a list of the ones I was working with (character, unicode number, concept):

I notice that the forum font does not show the Circle-X for "equivalent space" (displays a box with numbers in it on Firefox). I would prefer to use unicode characters over images.
