String Theory concepts

Post by MikeWirth »

Bruce and company - good work on the RS library! It's a very impressive archive and should impress newcomers.

Having read Dr. Nehru's "Multi-dimensional Space-Time' and Bruce's "Evolving Views of Space and Time" led to how some string theory concepts may work within RS2.

Dr. Nehru's 4th dimension indicating the emotional dimension may be the Kaluza - Klein circular, curled dimension used in string theory. It looks alot like the circular linking recursion dimension (or motion) between the physical and non-physical sectors which Bruce developed.

It seems to make sense to follow the 3 sense-perceptual LINEAR dimensions allowing space/time motion with 1 emotional NONLINEAR dimension used for the recursion between sectors and which provides for the 2nd density biological process which in a way is the instinctual and emotional drive dimension of experience needed for creative adaption and evolution of life forms.

Dr. Nehru's 5th dimension indicating the mental dimension may be the NONLINEAR orthogonal extension of the 4th dimensional Kaluza - Klein circle which can become either the torus or sphere which Brian Greene indicates as the 2 "extra dimensions" represented in his book Elegant Universe (p199-200 paperback). This may also be another recursion dimension linking the ethical/anti-ethical sectors that Bruce illustrates and which indicates the self-conscious choice-making connection of 3rd density.

Dr. Nehru's 6th dimension of the intuitional dimension may be the final NONLINEAR orthogonal extension of the torus or sphere which may be some kind of braided or spiral form based on the "Occult Chemistry" material? I'm not sure how to describe this. It could again be a recursion dimension linking Unity to the sub-sectors and bridging infinity of a continuum kind (spiritual) to infinity and finity of a discrete kind (mental/emotional/physical).

Now that the set of 3 nonlinear recursive dimensions have been described how is the 7th dimension of the Universal represented? Maybe some infinite, ubiquitous "point" dimension? Maybe the universal "bindu" form plays a role?

That's all I can think of for now about the dimensions aspect. But just a quick mention about one other aspect of string theory - the M theory concept of "branes".

They are mentioned in two ways - as having application and properties as "boundaries" and as "slices" of various space-time worlds of various dimensions.

RA mentions the "inner planes of time/space" and the "outer planes of space/time" and maybe a modified RS2 version of branes could represent what the inner and outer planes seem to be. Maybe there could even be some RS2 application and relevance for strings due to their unlimited # of "vibrational modes" which has a place in RA's nomenclature. There's a Quo session that mentions the infinite # of planets that exist on unlimited # of vibrational planes so that's also consistent with ideas mentioned in M brane theory.

Well, I still need to dig some more into the string theory material to see if these areas are worth pursuing. Maybe there could be some collaboration with some string theorists who are getting frustrated and who may be open to research of these areas.

They seem to be "in crisis" from what I've read of Lee Smolin's bestseller so maybe the time is ripe. :)

String Theory concepts

Here's an article Nehru sent me recently that has some interesting ideas on the inclusion of consciousness into the idea of dimensionality. Haven't converted it to HTML yet; MS Word document. (If you don't have Word, use OpenOffice to open it).

Still thinking about your post... interesting. Hadn't really thought about an "emotional dimension" in the context of a dependent dimension.

Am at the library to make a copy of the Nehru's article to read later. Thanks for the download Bruce.

Just to summarize the ideas about dimensions of the previous post which are very tentative.

The 3 physical dimensions are mutually orthogonal and linear to provide for the process of physical motion. (quick question - can the polar coordinate system of time region be framed as nonlinear?)

The next 3 dimensions (emotional, mental, intuitional) are also mutually orthogonal to each other and to the physical dimensions but are nonlinear and acting as linkages (feedback loops) to provide for the process of recursion between sectors.

Can be considered as the Kaluza-Klein dimensions used in string theory. A 2D form may be as the surface of a toroid or sphere and when combining the 3rd orthogonal dimension may create a "solid" toroid or sphere? Just one "mathematical" possibility.

The 7th dimension may possibly be of the "bindu point" form. Appearing hidden yet ubiquitous?

This is definitely incomplete because how does the idea of "N" dimensions relate to this? Could "N" be defined as both integer and non-integer? Consider the fractal dimensions which are a combination of topology, complexity and order. In a 7 density/subdensity system fractal dimension values can be subdivisions of increasing complexity ie. 1 - 1.1428 - 1.2857 - 1.4285 - 1.5714 - 1.7142 - 1.8571 - 2.

I would assume that from the fractal dimension 1.9999 to dimension 2 there is both a quantitative and qualitative jump which may model a density shift. Just a tentative speculation.
